About CCA

Background Information

CCA holds an annual meeting and convention, alternating between Northern and Southern California each year. Check out our events link to see current convention and meeting dates.

Among its many benefits, CCA provides each of its members a quarterly edition of The Minute Book, the official publication of CCA. This publication includes articles about courts, members, innovative programs, proposed and new legislation, as well as reports from individual association members.

The California Court Association (CCA) was formed in June 1952 with an initial membership of 135. Today, CCA's membership has grown to well over 2,000 individuals. Regular membership is open to all employees of California courts. Any person employed in California by a court-related governmental agency may apply for associate membership and any regular member who has retired from his or her position in a California court may continue membership as a retired member.
